COMPANY PROFILE

 

 is a brand created by YOUSUF AL HASHMI UNIFORM MANUFACTURING CO LLC, DUBAI . The company was started in 1982 as Yousuf Al Hashmi Tailoring. The main objectives were to enter the niche market of making and providing customized corporate and government department clothing/uniforms.

The company was converted into a LLC company in 1995 and in the year 2000 to an Industrial venture.

Today it has grown into a leading corporate clothing company in Dubai providing its products and services to many prestigious government departments and companies in all parts of the world.

Our specialty is to understand the exact requirements of each customer and develop uniforms meeting their satisfaction. We can provide uniforms in standard international sizes and also on a special program to make uniforms on individual measurements.

We realized that the competitive edge can be achieved only through providing our customers quality products and services and hence started looking at developing quality management systems since 1995. Internal systems were developed to meet the high standards expected from an ISO company.

In the year 2000, we have been awarded the prestigious certification of ISO 9001-1994 by the Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and we are proud to say that we are the first and only company in the UAE and Gulf to achieve this coveted distinction in the Uniform line of business.

In 2004, we have upgraded ourselves to the new ISO Standards ISO9001-2000.

Last year we have been awarded the Best Supplier Award by the Dubai Municipality for Uniforms and Accessories.

ISO Certification

 

On February 15, 2000 , we became the first ISO 9001-certified company in the UAE in our industry. This certification is universally considered to be the premier quality management system in the world. This certification requires that all of our systems ranging from customer service to shipping be documented and followed on a day-to-day basis. Every nine months an ISO auditor audits our procedures to ensure we are in compliance. Compliance with ISO 9001 guidelines assures that the quality of our products and services are the within the Quality Management System and Procedures established for the company. OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS - ORDER PROCESSING
  Receipt of Orders:
 
We receive orders by several means - phone, fax, mail, and Internet. All orders must be confirmed by us. Local orders are received through Local Purchase Orders and advance payment and International Orders are received through advance remittance.
  Turn around Time:
 

Non-stock items and individual measurement items are made ready under a manufacturing program which will be advised to our customers upon receiving the order.

•  Standard procedure of completion of order will comprise of:

•  Receiving and confirming the order

•  Getting approval of the fabric and color

•  Getting approval of the design and style

•  Final Delivery of the uniforms.

 

In House Embroidery and Screen Printing

 

To improve customer turnaround time and satisfaction, we have embroidery and silk screen printing facility. Because we embroider and silkscreen in house, we're able to control the consistency of our customization and ensure it meets our quality audits.

This in-house capability also allows us to ship out small uniform orders in a timely manner. We also design and digitize logos for our customers. These logos are always sent out for customer approval before an order is started.

 

Expediting Process:

  At the end of every week, a report is made out by the dispatch department and given to the Managing Director and an update report is sent to the customer weekly.

Doing Things Right The First Time

 
For us in , customer satisfaction is of paramount importance. Our corporate customer service philosophy is founded on a proactive point of view. We attempt to stop problems before they start by doing things right the first time .
 
 

PACKAGING & RETURN POLICY

  Packaging
 

Orders can be shipped a few different ways. Some customers require their orders to be individually packaged by employee for ease of distribution. The items are individually packed in polythene bags along with a detailed packing list.

When the package is received by the client, it is handed to the employee. This method helps reduce the mix up of sizes and cuts back on loss. There is no additional charge for individually packing in polythene bags.

We also bulk ship to distribution facilities and individual locations where required.

We also have facility to make uniforms on individual measurements. We can provide measurement forms and also explain the method to take correct measurements. In such cases, the uniforms are cut and made on individual measurements. This will be packed in individual packets with the staff number and name clearly written outside the bag. The charges for making uniforms on individual measurements will be different. Please enquire for details.

   
 

Shipment & Payment Terms.

  Unless clearly mentioned otherwise, all our price terms are FOB Dubai .
 

1.  Door Delivery :
     On Buyers International Courier account number like DHL, UPS, FEDEX,TNT etc.    

2. Shipment by Sea:
   
By FCL or LCL depending on the order volume. Rate will be confirmed on enquiry.

3. Shipment by Air :
    
By Regular Cargo Flights. Rate will be confirmed on enquiry.

   
  Payment Terms & Conditions:
 
  • 50 % advance at the time of placing order and rest amount at the time of issuing AWB No, Prices are FOB Dubai .
  • Samples are available at cost which will be adjusted at the time of confirmed order. For sending sample International Courier Account number (a/c) of consignee is required.
   
  Return Policy
 

's return policy is as follows:

  • Any garment not meeting specifications as per the orders accepted can be returned to our company.
  • Any garment shipped in error (color not as ordered, size not as ordered) can be returned.
  • Uniforms made on individual measurements can be returned only if there is a manufacturing defect or it is made on wrong fabric or color. All measurements will be subject to an error tolerance of +/- 1 cm.
 

All returns require a valid Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. You can request this number by contacting us. Please download the RMA form by clicking on the link below. Please ensure that you fill in the RMA number and all relevant information about the merchandise being returned. This form should accompany any returned merchandise.
